First problem is he usage of Arctic Silver TIM. That's a no no for people who like to tweak their system. It will cool just fine AFTER a 200 hour cure time. Durring this cure time you have to expose the TIM to a range of thermal situations such as idle, light load, full load and off (room temp) before the temps are accurate.

Pick any other top shelf TIM any that one, they are all within a few C so pick a brand that has a cool package or a name you like to say. I went with ICDiamond7, its a top shelf TIM gets similar temps to the others but has freaking diamonds ground up in it lol.

Next, Are you looking to replace your Cooler, Or get more fans? watch out those Vantec fans you listed are a quality product BUT your going to have a mini 747 prepped and ready for take off in you PC room.

rather than tell you what you should have bought / should be buying - i'll answer your question

If the fans you are planning on getting are the same dimensions as you state - then it should work better, those fans have more than double the air-shifing volume than the originals - as long as you can fasten the fans properly onto your cooler and the wires don't give you grief i would go for it... i'm in a similar situation myself with a Gaia cooler i want to get in a push-pull setup
