Anyone here think that buying a cheap case and motherboard...then transferring everything over AND buying a new cpu is a viable option?

If I where you I would hunt down a cheap used gpu in the 8800gts or more power range and see how well that performs in the games you want to play. And after that I would start to save up for a bigger upgrade (mobo CPU and ram).

Are you asking me to make an offer on it...or is that what you did with that? XD

Tbh I need either a core 2 duo or equivalent to play Star trek online. That's why I've been so adamant about making one work in the 9150 :/

Seeing as a £116 postage charge has made KEITHRH12's offer redundant...I still need to know if and how I can make a core 2 duo runs on my i945p chipset :/

If I can't then please tell me where I can get a very cheap case and mobo...I don't need high performance...just something that will let me use core 2 duo...
