i7 960 + GA-x58-ud3r for $200.00 worth it?

Hey there. Since I know next to nothing about all these new Intel chips(been AMD for a long time), I'll ask the resident guru's here. I have the opportunity to get an i7 960 + a Gigabyte x58a-ud3r mobo for $200.00, basically what I want to know is if it would be worth it. I know for a fact that this board and CPU have been bone stock their whole lives(no o/c).
I currently run an AMD 1090T @ 4.0ghz, and want to run an Intel for *****s and giggles. Any idea if I'll see an improvement, slight downgrade or roughly the same performance? I hope to achieve a 4.0Ghz OC, anymore would be gravy.

Yea, that's a great deal. The chip alone is 150$, and that board is pretty nice so it's easily worth it. However, for performance gain.. coming from your 1090t there's not really going to be a whole lot of gain, a side-grade would be safe to say
