800D or Cosmos s II?

Thread Starter
Hey guys.

I'm having a very hard time deciding between the 800D and Cosmos s 2 chassis, price isnt an issue im just worried about what will give me the best for my system

Essentially i want it to host my E sandy set up with a rampage 4 extreme. Also I will be water cooling with atleast a 360 + 240 rad.

Waddaya think?

Both cases are perfect for Watercooling, but the Cosmos 2 has been suffering some shipping problems. It seems certain parts of the case are made of plastic and can be damaged while shipping. Check out the Cosmos 2 Club.

Go with 800D, it even looks much more sturdy then the cosmos II. And not so bulky and big !

800d is an amazing project case.

the possibilities are endless if you have the right tools. It'll fit a 360 rd on top easily and with few mods, you can squeeze a 240 in as well.

Corsair 800D is the go for water cooling. Ive just bought a Cosmos 2 and it only just fits a 360 rad in the top.

I've had a 700D and it is a great case. It's absolutely massive though. Taking it to LAN Parties was a real *****. I could not transport it in my favorite car without taking the front seat out (Mazda Miata). I like the looks of the Cosmos II though. I would choose the C2 because of how it looks. a single 360 rad is all you need!

I like them both, I have an 700D and I think it's a classic design that will still look good years from now. I like at allot of the square cases from the early 2000's and I still think they look great. On the other hand....The Cosmos, I don't know......damn...I don't have a point anymore, I think that will like good years for now too...I guess you can't loose, they are both great cases. thumb.gif
