Because of shipping and coupons I had. No biggie at all man. thumb.gif /\

Now I'm on to the fan part for the upper and lower rads(120mm), ugh I am looking at some on Newegg and looking at the DB's (loud) of them, Ive seen some as low as 17db and they go way up. The top rad will need 6 as I plan on doing push / pull the bottom rad will need 4 as I plan on push / pull with that. So thats 10 right there. I forget without looking at how many fans the case comes with. Also the CFM's is important, they will be ran with a fan controller as well.

Plus I'm not sure if I want LEDs or just plain black, I'm thinking more of LEDs I would want, blue, or if they have a Ice blue or may add blue and a white in the middle to tone down all the blue. The water in the loop I plan on running dye and that'll be the lime green (Uranium) color.

Just as I think its going to get easier with choices here comes the fans!

So I'm gonna do some more reading and please feel free to make suggestions. Thanks all! biggrin.gif

What kinda fans you're looking for? Do you want silent or powerful fans, or something in between? PWM controlled? Price?

Few to check out:
Scythe Gentle Typhoon - fugly fans but perform very well on rads. Very popular choice, I just call 'em overrated.
Yate Loon (many speed and led choices) - Almost as good as GT's, but a lot cheaper.
Akasa Viper/Apache (black) - One of my personal favourites, they have PWM and they're just awesome.
Cougar Vortex - Dunno much about these, look and perform nicely.
Bitfenix Spectre (pro) - Regular spectres are my #1 choice for silent fans, the PRO-fans have stunning looks and they've got pretty decent performance too. My other personal favourite.
Gelid Wing 12 - UV reactive blades, come in blue and green flavours. Decent performers, more for looks though.

Yes I want to hook them up to my controller to control speeds. Ill be honest, I had to look up PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) to see what exactly it meant! tongue.gif

As mentioned in my last post before you responded I want to hook them up to my controller, and I know that CFMs are important to be able to pull out the heat out the rads, just like a car rad. I am into drag racing (turbo cars) so I do know the importance of pulling heat out of the rad = better power and safer running conditions etc and this is the same thing in a way. Electronics don't like too much heat and water of course, well computer wise because they are not meant to be wet!

So with that said, I want as quite as possible without killing the CFMs so they can do the job that they need to do, pulling out heat effectively. So I guess something in between like you asked.

Price - of course Id like to spend one buck on each but thats not going to happen, so I am looking for something thats cheaper but with good performance numbers. If I have to spend a little more to get a decent fan with low DBs and higher CFMs than I will do that. I'm not about to cheese out on fans trying to save $50 and burn up a 200+ dollar CPU etc.

Thanks for your info so far. Going to plug away at this a Lil more. thumb.gifthumb.gif

Damn, I missed the fan controller part somehow kookoo.gif I would recommend medium speed yate loons maybe? 1700ish rpm fans, wont cost you arm and leg either. Newegg doesn't carry them though, dunno why.
On radiator fans, you should remember to focus on the static pressure too.

Just saying, a 2600K is better at video rendering and stuff like that due to HT. (4 physical cores, 8 logical cores...)

Thanks for your suggestion! Might make a change on the CPU but not sure yet.

I had to hunt down the Fed Ex guy this morning, I came home to a slip at the door saying they attempted to deliver a package and I missed it by 15 Min's, so me knowing my neighborhood, I knew he was still in it, so I got in my truck and drove all over till I found him, and found him I did biggrin.gif And look at what I would have waited for another day.....

Shes purdy thats for sure, and fingerprint prone! tongue.gif But thats OK, now me being in the Home Improvement and Painting Business I had to check out the quality. The paint at least on mine has orange peal, cant really see, till your close to it. The construction part of it, well theirs alot of plastic parts on it. Some don't feel to structurally sound and feels week. But I can live with all that as long as I'm just careful, but for the $170 we pay I feel like a few things could be better. But all in all I still love her, shes huge and has plenty of room (at least empty) we will see when I start cramming all kinds of goodies in there.biggrin.gif But all in all I give them thumb.gifthumb.gif for some of their thought out things they did in there. I am happy and not bashing at all, just telling how it is "to me and my standards". Not too mention, I got free shipping which should have taking 7 business days but they sent it out and got it much sooner than that, I think its because we had a billing issue with my old address and it got delayed and they sent it quicker shipping method for me, so THANKS GUYS at NZXT thumb.gifthumb.gif

Anyways enough of my lame small review!

Heres some more pics, now things are going to be rolling in, the next few days alot will be here, so for now I'm going to get more acquainted with her and all that and wait patiently for my PSU and other things to arrive so I can get started.

Looking to do some sleeving to the PSU so that might delay some things as I still need to find a place and order, haven't had the chance to look into that yet, so any recommendations feel free to write some down for me! Thanks thumb.gif

Glad to hear you were able to hunt down the FedEx guy biggrin.gif
I don't think I could have waited another day to get my case if that had happened to me.
