The cost shouldn't be that much given the price of RAM these days.

Yeah memory is dirt cheap.. You just need to get the right speed for the chipset rather then what was in it. Like my N61Jq came with 4GB of 1066, but i know people with 8GB of 1333. All in all i'd say just stick with the same memory you have to avoid complications. (Depending on how many ram sticks you have installed already).

Afaik, ASUS don't "Void" your warranty for replacing memory, people on a laptop forum i go to have RMA'd their laptop with no HDD's. They just put the original memory back in the laptop for an RMA! thumb.gif

Hello there, I am also pretty inexperienced at OC'ing, I've got the same card as Shayo, and I've read through this thread, what I'd like to know is: the Voltage, I've only got two options, which are 0.812V or 0.962V. Which one should I use?

Thanks in advance, I would really appreciate some help because I find it really annoying with the lag I get when I'm playing D3 Beta, I thought for sure I could play it on max settings, which I probably won't be able to even after OC'ing, but hopefully I can at least play at my current specs without lag.

Sorry if my question is a bit stupid >.> C:

Voltage can remain at 0.962V. The cooling capability of this laptop is excellent and will do fine with the stock voltage.
