Suggest a custom ROM for me

Hi guys, I'm thinking of rooting my Motorola Atrix on Bell. Can anyone suggest a custom ROM I should use if I do so? I'd like to have gingerbread at the latest, and I'd like suggestions other than Cyanogenmod. Thanks thumb.gif

Liberty is awesome, don't know if they make one for you specific phone but it is a great ROM, I ran it on my Droid R2D2 for a good while

EDIT: also if you can find it Zombie Stomped is a pretty sick one too

i got all my roms off of here

Good Luck!

EDIT2: found this too this is a huge list of ROMS that are compatible with your phone, it doesn't look like the two I have listed are there though =(

Thanks man, found Neutrino ROM V2.2 which looks pretty nice, however I'm having troubles while trying to install. I flashed CW recovery with ROM manager, then tried to install it using Rom Manager, however when it reboots into recovery to install, all I get is an exclamation point and android figure. I read that I should change a setting in recovery that allows ROMS to be installed without being signed, but when I try to get into recovery manually to change the setting I get the same symbol. Suggestions?

Just tried that and I get a blue menu with the following options:

reboot system now
install update from sdcard
factory wipe/reset
clear data cache

Would 'install update from sdcard' be the one to pick? I tried it but of course it wouldn't work since I have no sd card, but if thats what I have to do i can pop one in with the ROM i want on it.

sounds like cwm recovery didnt flash over. on my wifes phone (samsung epic) cwm is purple. try reflashing it. once its there your going to choose install zip from sdcard>choose zip from sdcard>"wherever you put your rom zip"

dont unzip the rom, leave it zipped. i just put stuff im going to flash on the root of the sd so its easy to find

So basically since you now have recovery what you would do is copy the rom on to your SDcard.

From there you will boot into custom recovery or the screen you just got.
I'd say make a backup if possible first, then wipe factory reset, then install update from zip, install custom zip, and locate the zip that you have pasted into your SDcard.

If you are rooted you can use Titanium Backup to backup and restore your applications.
