Also, I replaced all SATA cables and the power cable.

Still no luck. Humm...

Swapped RAM, video card.. still crashed.

Unplugged HDDs, still crashed.

Unplugged SSD, no crash yet... And this, even though I replaced the SATA cable, using at least 2 and probably 4 different ones.
I'll keep provoking it, and put my SSD in my second PC. See what happens.

Any idea what could cause this?

Does it with the SSD, too...
I believe that I have swapped every part, except for the screws/etc.

And, I put my case on a board. It's off the carpet.

Guess I'll do that, too.

If that doesn't work, I'll start by slowly adding or removing parts. :S

Given the myriad of ways you've managed to reproduce this issue and the diverse hardware you've tested it with, I'm leaning toward things that are far more rare, but in your case seem the only plausible explanations. So long as all of your individual parts swapping was performed in a scientific manner that eliminated as many variables as possible, these are the last two suspicions that I can come up with:

1) It's the wiring in your house/apartment, or at least the wiring in the room where your PC is. Using a high quality UPS may solve this problem, unless it's a ground-fault in your home, in which case, a high quality UPS should trigger a warning with a GFI (Ground-Fault Indicator) of some sort.

2) You have a severe static electricity issue in your room or with your shoes/slippers (or even your walking habits, if you trudge or shuffle your feet).

Moving your PC (temporarily) to a new location in your home, such as the kitchen, may narrow down problem #1.

Placing your PC on boards or an anti-static mat may or may not solve problem #2, depending on if your body is still generating massive amounts of static electricity.

However, moving the PC to the kitchen (temporarily) may also eliminate Problem #2 with static, making it harder to troubleshoot this issue.

How is the wiring in your home, and have you tried using a high quality UPS? I know you mentioned in your first post that you removed it from the UPS and put it onto a standard power strip. I can't think of when this would ever be a good thing.

It is on the UPS now. I didn't leave it on the strip for long.
810w Cyberpower, with "pure sine wave."

Is it possible though, that it only crashes 1 PC and not both - despite both having the same location (both under desk, just feet away.) and being plugged into the same UPS? .. if the issue is with home grounding

Also, I tried another thing today:

I swapped cases, again. This time I also swapped standoffs and screws (pan head for hex).
My SECOND PC started crashing now, and the main would not.

Of course, I need my PC in the other case. So, I kept the standoffs and panhead screws.

Now it crashes again.

The only difference is that one board uses 6 screws, and the other uses 9.. BUT.
They are the same 6 that caused 'both' to crash...

WELL.

I know the ground was not well done in my apartment, I've known that for months.

But I couldn't figure out why 1 PC crashes and the other doesn't, and I still can't.

... I ran an extension cable from the original house up to my PC, and so far even with creating a nice strong spark by rubbing socks on the carpet and then touching the case, 3 times, no crash.

Fixing the ground may be a real pain.

Thanks for your help, gents.

Try taking out the IO shield between the case and the Mobo. i'll be that it touching the the metal around the USB ports on the Mobo is creating an electrical path to ground. I had a really similar problem with a CM storm scout case with static electricity. I wrote this thread. Though it sounds like you have already tried the things that i did in the thread to solve my problems.

Edit: NVM, looks like you solved your problem.

But never both at the same time, only if I swapped parts.

Seems to me that SOME part has a lower tolerance.
