I personally would go with a corsair case, they always have great quality and great support for their products.

400r is available same price as the HAF912 adv, not sure what's up with the 'fat' sides. Keep the suggestions coming in I'm going to buy a case today no matter what.

I would be willing to pay 300rmb extra for:

500R

But only if you experts here really think it's a fair bit better than the cases i linked to in the original post or that others have thus far suggested smile.gif. 200mm fan on the side 'mesh' screen. Wondering about dust again.

And i'f i'm gonna spend 1000rmb on a case it's got to last me 2 - 3 years at least and beyond ivey bridge, i.e i will keep upgrading it.

Personally I would go with the 500R.

With my build, the case was the first thing I decided on and bought. I went with a Lian Li because it should last me for years and however many different builds I want to put in it, and because it looks beautiful. For the same reason if I were in your position I'd go the Corsair 500R. A beautiful case and as mentioned here, great after-purchase support.

Hope that helps,
Sam.

not available in China, i'm kind of moving against the 500r, it seems preety big for a mid tower. I'm only going to have one SSD in the machine.

Probably will just go for CM690II Advanced (although its like 2 years old already) and hope to mod or find a side panel with a window. As long as the new gpu's coming out in 2012 won't be longer than the max supported:

OP: My HAF 912 and 690 II Advanced cases repectively.  Also they do sell a clear side panel for the 690 II Advanced.  I also modded my 690 II Advanced interior by adding Corsair case rubber grommets that took some modding of those to fit two of the mobo holes.  Now if you find the newly released 690 II Advanced USB 3.0 version it "should" already come with rubber grommets.

The more I think about it, if you think the haf912 is ugly/teenager then your going to think the same thing about the entire haf series. And serious enthusiasts are using the haf x all the time not just kids.

Really I own the 922 so you don't know my thoughts on the HAF series. And where did I say anything about teenager? Because I'm a long way from a teenager. You asked for opnions so don't get offended. And if you get the HAF series you better get some thicker skin. People slam the case all the time.
