He's got 8 gigs of ram according to his sig. Setting the pagefile to a static size of 512mb is the best course of action. Moving it to the hdd will do nothing but slow things down in the rare instance it's needed.

Actually, for some reason my sig isn't showing my latest stuff. I've got 16Gb of 2133mhz Ripjaws X RAM now with a HD7970 smile.gif

The Performance Pro is an excellent choice. Reads virtually as fast as the m4 but writes a lot faster. Enjoy.

Didn't want to create a new thread for something so similar. I'm looking into 256GB SSD's (was originally looking at the 240GB Sandforce drives, but decided to stay away). Between the M4, 830, or Performance Pro, is there a better of the 3? I was originally leaning on the 830, but the M4 is a little cheaper. Then the Performance Pro is ~$60 more than the M4. Is one better than the other? Do they offere the same speeds? Can't go wrong with any of them? Just grab the cheapest out of the 3 and call it a day?

Thanks thumb.gif

Yep. And they are the number one reason why I'll never buy another ocz product.

If you have an issue, admit you have an issue and do what you can to solve it. Don't sit there and deflect blame to everything else.
