What to go for

Thread Starter
Hi everybody,

I am a little concerned about my temps so I have decided to buy a new heatsink for my 2500K. I'm only using the stock Intel heatsink at the moment which isn't great. The temperature on some of the cores has hit as high as 76C under Intel Burn Test, so I decided to return to stock settings.

Anyway, I am trying to choose a heatsink for the chip and I don't know where to start. I would like to be able to hit about 4.3GHz with the 2500K, my budget is around £40. Do you guys have any suggestions?

EDIT: I failed, just realised that there was a thread pretty much the same as this below me. Sorry

Silver Arrow. And buy low profile RAM. That means flat down no elevation on the RAM heatsink at all.

Silver Arrow is still the least expensive top-dog cooler out there. It comes with two TY-140's, the best 140mm fans made, and they're PWM, so your mb can vary their speed with the load.

Can it be bought cheaper elsewhere in the UK or the EU?
