Increase Dram volt by 20, 6gb only 4gb usuable.

Hey, I been trying to overclock my ram speed and when ever increase my voltage from 1.66 to 1.68 it seems to show that only 4bg is useable.

my memory is ocz triple channel 2gb and its rated for 1.65v.

I set my timing at 8-8-8-24 rather then the 10-10-10-28 that the manufacturer states, would that be the issue?

Most likely, that is a big change to ram timings with only a tiny voltage gain, that ram prob wont reach them timings, put the timings back to stock and hopefully you will be fine

Sorry maybe I didn't word this right? I am running fine on 8-8-8-24, on 1.66v but whenever I increase to 1.68 it shows an error saying 6gb only 4gb useable. But I think I already found a solution, been doing memtest+ on stock timing and voltage and one of the ram stick always comes out with an error so im doing an RMA on it, Hopefully they don't want all 3 ram.

Also I am guessing it is fine to run only 2 out of 3 on a triple channel?
