The PSU is a 700 watt Corsair, its got plenty of juice for the entire PC. It had a lot of BSOD before i changed to the 12.2 preview driver, and that was while in windows browsing internet or just sitting idle.

Yeah... but have you checked that the pcie power connectors are completely in there? (not loose or only halfway in)

I was thinking the same thing, I am going to unplug the current power connectors and use different ones and cross my fingers! If this doesn't work, I think i'm just going to take the card back and get a MSI - http://www.frys.com/product/6559683?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

The card is stock, no overclocking. I do enable manual fan control, and turn the fans on to 60%

What is voltage supposed to be under load?

Sorry not sure re: XFX voltage question.
I got an MSI TFII 2G,next paycheck I got another.
Just sayin'.
I also use CCCleaner(W CCEnhancer) and Revo Uninstaller(freebs)
before fresh/new install,after Driversweeper.
I disabled ULPS as diff forum noted-
Your crashes/BSOD's at web browse/idle makes me think ULPS issue.

Well I bought the MSi TF II 2 gb. It seems like a nicer card than the XFX, production wise.

Ran into some problems installing the drivers. To get them working right I had to uninstall CCC (12.1), all .net versions and then reinstall everything, took some time! But it worked in the end.

I haven't had any BSOD's or anything, and played BF 3 for a good 3 hours. It did crash to the desktop at the end of that 3 hours of play, but i'm not too concerned with it. What I am concerned with is it seems that my game-play is not buttery smooth. It is sometimes choppy.

I'm wondering where my bottleneck is?
Also, What settings should I be running BF3 on?

Monitor your FPS with some application (preferably not afterburner, cause I've heard it has some problems with punkbuster, and not fraps because it lowers the fps quite much). If you want really smooth gameplay, aim for 50-60 fps. So adjust the settings so that it stays around those numbers at all times. I haven't played BF3 and I don't know your settings but I guess lowering Anti-Aliasing would boost the fps quite a bit... you should be able to run it on high or something. Sorry for the messy post smile.gif
