"Too Close" to my telephone exchange.

So I've been advised that I am indeed too close to my telephone exchange and no amount of tweaking (raising SNR margins etc.) fix this. Symptoms include getting multiple resyncs per day, packet loss etc.

I've found that daisy chaining telephone extensions cable fixed the problem and have about 80 metres worth connected together.

Just wondering if there is any easier way to induce signal loss or attenuation on a POTS (copper) line?

Im not entirely sure, but I know there is a function in this program that allows you to increase or decrease your (SNR) Signal to Noise ratio..

Its worth a shot.

You'll have to find out what version will work for your router.
