BF3 keeps switching to single fire mode

Hey guys,

I just started playing BF3 and it seems like it'll randomly switch off auto fire mode to single shot sometimes? I'm definitely not pushing the change fire mode button... Anyone had this problem before?

I have not heard of that unless your mode change button has been damaged on your keyboard.

You could try to re install the game and see if that will help!

Actually now that I look a bit more closely, it's not actually switching modes but when I hold down shoot on auto mode it will sometimes only fire 1 bullet

It doesn't happen in other games so I'm sure the button is okay

It's been happening to me lately. I just mentioned it earlier today to some OCNers I was rolling with in multi. Can't say for sure when it started happening but, it hasn't been more than maybe 2 weeks.

I've noticed it mostly happens after a res. But it is a real bug...you aren't imagining it. I'll press the fire button to hose someone and only pop one shot instead so, I'll either sf until he's down or hit V to go back to auto.
