Choosing a Mechanical keyboard. (Have two choices in mind.)

After hearing all of the wonders of mechanical keyboards, I would like to get one myself. I am pretty confident Brown switches are for me, because I will be typing and gaming, and have read that if you aren't sure what to get, get browns. I have narrowed it down to two keyboards hopefully, although I will consider any other options under ~150 US dollars. This is what I am looking at.

Besides the obvious price difference, and color, what is the difference? I would like the yellow one, but if there isn't much of a difference, I'm not going to pay that much more.

Edit: Okay, if you were me and had 150 or less US dollars to spend on a keyboard, what would you get. It can't be really loud, but that's about it. Oh and, tenkeyless is preferred.

Build quality of the filco is much better than the ducky. Also they use costar stabilizers on the larger keys which feel better according to most people. Their keys ttend to last longer than lasered keys. I'd definitely go with filco

Just curious, would those yellow keys get dingy after a while?

They might lose there color eventually, but I'm not on my comp tons, and I think that you can buy replacement keys.

Such a hard choice. Double the price to get the Filco. If the quality is that much better though, I'm going to get it.

you shouldnt compare the mj2 to that ducky, more like the ducky shining, which is pretty much equal in terms of build quality. filco keycaps are also notorious for wearing off quickly, whereas my ducky shining hasnt even begun to and i doubt it ever well the way they're done.

if you want costar stabilizers or a filco for cheaper, just get a rosewill keyboard. same OEM manufacturer (the PCB even says filco on it) and they only cost around $110

This is the same keyboard I just got a month ago. I went with blues tho. This keyboard is absolute heaven. I went from a steelseries to this because I couldn't get used to the odd key layout and the black switches were not for me. Way too heavy. Had to get this one because I'm a huge Bruins fan.

I feel that off of your responses, I haven't done a great job of figuring out what to get, so I'm just looking for the best value. I am starting to like that Rosewill more and more.

Oh, and Tbag, I really, really, really hate your username. It bothers me.

Filco MJ2 TKL mx black or brown on amazon. It's $150 for the ninja version or $140 in the regular mj2.
