Good luck mate. I'm thinking your get stuck around 4.8/4.9. That seems to be where most are stopping. If you really want to feed it the power, you could go for 5. Is it worth risking a 1k CPU though?

EVGA is a comparatively small company, this can be evidenced in the fact that companies like ASUS will send all the major media channels review boards but EVGA doesn't seem to send any. I highly doubt they will be able to work up something that gets around the QPI link issue.

Must be server chips. Desktop/comsumer grade chips don't support multi-CPU platforms.

the 3930k's could easily connect to each other by sacrificing 4xcpi-e lanes and im willing to bet money that they also have dual qpi present that has been deactivated. The physical capability was never the issue though - its inel that will never allow such thing because what else would justify their overly expensive xeons.
