Western Digital Green Head Park Problem

I got one of the infamous WD20EARX (2TB Green) drives this past month, and recently discovered something. I have 445 power on hours count. Load/Unload Cycle count? 44,670. Yes, that is an outrageous number, I know. I tried WDIDLE3, and set it to 300 seconds, which somehow disables it, and it's still increasing... A full 30 in 30 minutes. What is going on? I want this FIXED, it's rated for 300k L/U counts, I'm already 1/6 of the way there, in less than a month! Please tell me someone knows a true fix for this, because This drive is insane. For comparison, I have a 3 year old WD6400AAKS in the same computer, with 24,000 power on hours, and only 1,350 load/unload cycle counts.

And update. 46k is the count. And I've figured it out. Anytime I do ANYTHING that does ANYTHING with that drive... It increases. It produces a sligtly audible click-like noise every time it does it.

So.

Open Drive. (click). click on folder (click) open next folder (click), open file (click)
And not only that, sometimes it will do it 3 or even 4 times for each action. So the simple act of opening a video file can increase it by as much as 15 counts! And then while playing a video, or song, it will do it every like, 3 seconds. It's outrageous!
