It's not, really. It's more like 2x1.5g. Since the card operates in SLI, each CPU gets 1.5g, mirroed.

It's the same as saying you have 4g on 2 6970, when in fact you'll use 2x2g.

That was the main reason I sent my grx 590 back. Ask around the more knowledgeable people around here, they'll offer a better explanation. smile.gif
