I'm not sure which one to get:

Samsung nexus prime: after hearing it has a bad bad camera, i don't want it anymore.

Samsung Galaxy S2: its old now, i rather get the iphone 4S got way better benchmarks.

Samsung note: i think i'm going to go with this, but damn its so big....

is there any other phones that's worth getting?

Well, I would say the SGS II or the Note will suit you. The II is still a good phone despite being old, and it only gets beat in the GPU department while CPU-wise, it beats the 4S handily. The Note isn't that large anyway, just a tad wider and taller than the Galaxy Nexus and its slim profile should help in keeping your pants relatively bulge-free. smile.gif

It all depends what's most important to you. The galaxy nexus is mainly for those who want great hardware and a pure Google experience without bloatware and third party UIs. Updates are frequent and right from Google. Its also the first android 4.0 phone. Even though the others will be upgraded, they still have hardware buttons that take away from screen real estate. fwiw the camera on the galaxy nexus is supposed to be a little better quality than the others but only 5mp. More megapixels doesn't mean a better camera. Oh and Google phones are not locked down.

The droid razr is the thinnest but low battery life and low resolution. The HTC Rezound is thick and heavy but has the best specs. I'm referring to current verizon phones obviously but you get the idea.

If you don't need to upgrade right now, the galaxy s iii its supposed to be out in a few months. the note is a fine phone too.

My biggest suggestion would be to narrow down what is really important to you and then choose a phone that works for you. There really aren't many bad choices.

I bought the Note on AT$T and I think I made a good decision. I was in the same shoes as you.

I got to see all three of those phones side by side at CES and I have to say I liked the Note overall.

Here's my break down of them:

Note:
+HUGE screen with awesome colors and high resolution
+Very fast cpu (I believe it's the fastest)
+S-Pen, not like a stylus, just a little bit better
-Maybe you think its too big? I really like the size because when I show it to my Apple fanboi friends with their iPhone they will flip out. Also when talking on the phone it looks like you are holding a tablet to your face biggrin.gif

SGS2:
+Nice screen, it a good size.
+Fast CPU also
+It's a good size, most people seem to like that range if you ever decide to resell it.
+Good camera
-Too small once you've seen a Note? biggrin.gif

Nexus:
+Screen is AWESOME. Nice pixel density
+Runs ICS which is very nice, although the S2 and Note are supposed to get it by the end of Q1
+Stock google device without all of the extra UI
-Bad camera
-Very bad battery
-A little slower than the current gen phones should be although still very fast
-Sometimes bad LTE signal
-Only a 4" screen when you take out the home, menu, and back buttons

Ya, thats my take on them. Also, just to get an idea of the size, the nexus and S2 both fit inside just the Note's screen with a little room to spare.

Looks like i'm leaning toward samsung galaxy nexus. I want the samsung galaxy s2, but i feel its so outdated and i should go with the nexus. I just wish the nexus had a better camera, maybe with future updates they will make the camera better? struggling................ frown.gif

The camera in the nexus isn't bad. The cameras in Moto phones are bad. The camera in the nexus is just alright, but definitely not bad.

The iphone 4S beats it and the samsung galaxy s ii as well. I was talking to the guy at Verizon he said the battery life is not great. But then again its going to be unlocked, so then it will be 4G not 4G LTE. if the battery life is wost then a galaxy s ii i'm definitely going with the samsung galaxy ii.

My Galaxy Nexus gets great battery life with moderate usage on 4g lte using the stock battery and a custom rom.

I said the camera wasn't bad, I never said that there weren't a lot of phones with a better camera.

Regarding battery life, it's pretty bad. I can completely drain my battery in 3 hours of usage. The screen kills the battery. If you're just listening to music, or are on standby, the battery will last forever.
