which watercooling kit works and wont fail or pieces?

im new to water cooling and need help buying a kit.

i was looking to cool my i3 550 and my pny gtx560 ti factory overclocked card and my ram only for the look. but i herd this kit fails with the pump http://www.frozencpu.com/products/14182/ex-wat-181/XSPC_Rasa_750_RX240_Universal_CPU_Water_Cooling_Kit_w_RX240_Radiator_and_Free_Kill_Coil.html?tl=g30c83s137#options i have seen a few posts here at the failing.

i need a kit to fit my 1156 socket cpu and be dual rad. my case is a nxt phantom. I'm looking to buy a kit. or a set of pieces that wont cost me too much over 200 dollars with shipping.
PLEASE don't focus on the gpu yet as i just bought my card this month and would like to wait but im going to buy a full cover block. as a note i don't want a t-line either in this kit.
i will be buying the fans to fit the case. also right now im stock cooling and my moth board is a msi p55-gd65 not the usb3.0 i have a 1000 watt psu so dont worry about power .

i will be overclocking both my cpu. i will do my gpu later when im comfortable as im new to this too

you should consider the new raystorm kits, I don't know if frozen cpu or any other us site carries them but dazmode from canada does:
http://dazmode.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=178_201&products_id=1872

These kits are top notch. Top performing cpu block, one of the most reliable pumps, has a very good res+pump combo for dual bay, comes with compression fittings, the new ex240 from xspc, etc.

The price is a bit higher than the rasa kits but you won't even need to upgrade like you would with the rasa kits, everything is already really good and you still save alot of money instead of buying the parts separately. I bought this kit two months ago and loved it, just bought some blue tubing and was good to go. Had no problems with it yet and the performance is what you would expect.

I know you don't want to spend over 200$ but I would still consider it if you can spend a bit more.

this is the pump http://dazmode.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=157_71&products_id=1734

It's the d5 pump, one of the most reliable pumps for watercooling and has enough lph(don't know how much, just know that's it's good enough for pretty complex loops) and it's really quiet. Unlike the pump that comes with the rasa kit you wouldn't really need to upgrade this later on.

D5 is a good pump with like 5 years of mean time between failures

Kit's Content:

Raystorm CPU Block Intel (AMD Braket included)
EX240 Dual Thin Performance Radiator
Two Fans and Stealth black Grills
5.25" Dual Bay Reservoir Pump Combo
DazMode Storm D5 Strong Pump
Six Black Crome 7/16 Compression fittings
Thermochill Flex 7/16 Tubing (White)
Radiator's (optional) External Mounting Hardware
K2 Thermal Grease and PSU Jumper

OK so if they give my a good pump why a give me a pump/Res combo seems dump if its only going to slow the other pump down and burn the Res combo out if I'm wrong please explain this too me.

the pump res combo is meant to be used with the d5 pump specifically, you mount it to the res and it works together using water directly from the reservoir. It works great and saves some space.

P.S.: The D5 just died on me, after less than 36 hours of uptime. First time I have personally experienced D5 to crap out.

So yeah, even the Mercedes Benz among PC water cooling pumps can fail. wink.gif

If your water hits 61c, your loop has major problems!

My water temperature with two 570s @ 900mhz and a 2500k @ 5ghz, all overclocked, never goes above 35c. That's with everything at 100% usage while running the BOINC client. My ambient is 22.5c.
