Am looking to get a bigger monitor then my U2410. I saw the samsung S27A650D and it fits the bill perfect. But I can't find any info on the monitor. How well would it do in games like BF3? I use Vysnc also...

and when I look at the specs for the monitors it lists the view angles as 178/160 isn't that a TN then?

Just got mine today. I tried it out a bit at home for about 30 minutes before I had to go back to work. I jumped into a BF3 game real quick. I noticed no ghosting or input lag. It played fine to me. Colors were awesome just as good as my Dell U2410. View angles were also just as good as my Dell. One thing I really liked was no AG coating. Text is so much easier to read and see on this then the Dell was. BUT mine has some back light bleed on the bottom left and bottom right corner. It seems that most LED monitors have this right? I will do lots more testing when I get home. But first impression is good, its also very very thin...

Ok been playing with it for the last 2 hours or so. A few things I have noticed.

1. Blacks are deep black, in games sometimes its so black its hard to see a bit. I think that's called black crush
2. Response time on Normal, forget playing games it ghosts like crazy. At Faster and Fastest its fine and you can play games no problem
3. Their is some back light bleed at the bottom right and bottom left corner of the monitor.
4. Text is very sharp for such a high pitch. The screen coating I think helps. Its not quite glossy yet not quite matte screen either. I really like that.
5. Its super thin yet it doesn't bounce all over the place it seems well made and sturdy.
6. Very quiet no buzzing or humming coming from it.
7. Very simple looking I like that also. The bezel is lke a black aluminum feel to it
8. Colors are very deep and rich
