Bored with Skyrim?

Thread Starter
Beat the game, installed all the good mods possible. I can't help but feel that all of the best content is already done and I'm left kind of unfocused on what to do next?
I "clear" a dungeon but then it resets a month later (game time) anyways, right? I was hoping to do all of the quests and clear every dungeon but I don't know if that unlocks anything special in the game?

So what would you suggest doing after beating the game and finishing all the brotherhood, thieves guild, and mage scholar quests? And is there a mod that can keep the dungeons cleared for good, and greyed out or something like that on the map too?
That would be very nice, to keep track of what I have already done from the map.

Until someone eventually comes up with a progression tracker, your best bet is to take every assignment and also look over the achievements, as some of the stuff you may have missed like the Daedric Artifact quests are on there. I did all the guilds, etc., got all the achievements, cleared out everything non-repeatable in my quest log except for the Stones of Barenziah. At this point, I'm just waiting for some cool stuff to pop up from the Creation Kit, which is to be released on Tuesday.

You can also look at http://www.gamebanshee.com/skyrim/mapofskyrim.php and make sure you've gotten all the locations on the map. The places you've cleared will have a "Cleared" message below the title on mouseover, although some quests ask you to revisit cleared locations.

You can't have beaten the game already! You've played as every race? Played as every class? Finished every quest?!

I'm on my first play through as a boring Nord Warrior. Nord, because we're in Skyrim and Warrior because it's the easiest way to play TES games and learn the lay of the land. Next I'm going to try a Kajit Thief.

there is no way that the OP finished every quest, they are infinite,

I really liked the dark brotherhood and the thieves guild quests, also finding all the words of power was a really tedious and rewarding task.

Will the places you've cleared have "Cleared" on the map mouseover forever, or just for a month of game time until they reset?
Maybe I am thinking that the enemies respawn in a month, but the "Cleared" mouseover stays forever?

If so then that would be cool. Still wish that the cleared areas would show up as semi-transparent or something, but the colored map mod is still nice for cities.

I believe they stay "cleared"; I vaguely remember revisiting a location with that note but there were enemies again.

I can't wait to play my second playthrough with a Khajit/Thief combo. That will probably be next year!ph34r-smiley.gif I am currently playing as a Dark Elf Battlemage setup with 88 hours + death hours on who knows how much I had to reset since I play on Master. tongue.gif

I agree. From personal experience they do stay cleared on the Map but baddies will respawn eventually.

@ OP, take a break from the game or start a new crazy playthrough. I'm to a point I'm 25% into the storyline and done so many quest that I do get bored time to time and just wander off and kill things.

I can see getting bored with a particular character, but bored within the whole game? I guess different strokes for different folks, but I think Skyrim is the best game I have ever played, and cannot see myself stopping for quite some time. To me it has immense replay value.
