Changed the mobo to your ASRock suggestion but am definitely going with the 2105 processor for HD3000 IGP. No discrete graphics card for this build so the IGP has to be the best possible.

Btw, I also have a Llano build as a wishlist on NE but its a bit pricier. Which would be better between the A8-3850 and the Core i3 2105?

That processor is overkill for the tasks that it will be used for. Instead buy this:

the a8 >>>>>> the 2105 in gaming, but loses in most every other category. if your dad would have done some gaming, i would have suggested the a8, but since this was also posted in the intel section, i think the 2100 and other variants are great budget cpus.
