The heat is to be expected (the slight tingling and heat let's you know it's working! lachen.gif). The lack of responsiveness though isn't exactly uncommon but it is a problem rather than an expected result, try pausing the GPU and see if it is alleviated to confirm my suspicion that it is the GPU folding rather than the CPU that's doing it. If it is the GPU like I think it is then in my experience it is due to just a less than ideal driver/software environment that may be causing some hangs and unresponsiveness, what can sometimes work is reinstalling either the latest beta drivers or the 266.58 and select custom install and then check the 'clean install' option. If that doesn't help then I would try uninstalling your current drivers and any GPU OC programs you have installed, then run driver sweeper to try and get rid of any driver remnants. Then install either the latest beta drivers or the 266.58 and see if that has done it then you can reinstall your GPU OC program. Past that the only way I know of taking care of it is through a OS reinstall.

Well that didnt work and im not even going to consider a complete OS reinstall. So it seems like my solution will just be pausing my GPU folding any time i need to use the computer. Also, i seem to have an issue with the computer i planned to use to fold 24/7... My sig rig runs the WU's just fine but my HP cant seem to start them. What i mean by this is after i configured all the settings for my HP and hit "Start All Clients", it acts like it will start and then nothing happens. It just never progresses. It shows that it is running but in project it show "Unknown" for both CPU and GPU and it stays at 0% no matter how long i give it. and PPD shows in yellow and remains at 0.

Any ideas?
