Computer Desk Advice

Hey OCN, long time reader first time poster. I need your advice and any information you can supply me for my upcoming desk build.

I've been toying with some desk plans and without the information that I need (below) I'm at a deadlock. Ideas I've been working with is an extended corner-desk/L-shaped desk and an actual L-shaped desk.
157142
Desk A: Planned to sit in the 45 degree corner with 3x24" monitors in the 90 degree corner. 65"x20"
Desk B: Planned to position 3x24" monitors on the long back portion. 77"x30"

Would a Ergotech Triple Monitor or XFX Triple Monitor Stand fit comfortably in the corner of a room?
What angle does the stand position the monitors?

How far out is it from the back brace to the front of the VESA brackets?
(When drawing out my plans I was trying to picture how far out 3x24" monitors would sit from the wall)

A product data sheet should answer your questions, but i can't find one for either manufacturer.

Call up the respective manufacturers, and ask for a datasheet. The worst they could do is say "no".

Thanks Crimson I'll try that out.

If anyone else has any concrete data concerning my questions it is much appreciated.

I like A, but I'd probably just use some Monoprice monitor stands.

I would suggest cutting out each desk in butcher paper (or laying them out in masking tape or an equivalent) and placing the monitors (or stand ins) on your cut out desks to get a sense for each design.

It can be hard to make a decision in the abstract. For me, A would seem like the monitors would be too far back or too close (leaving wasted space on the desk). It might be easiest to see if this is the case by having a stand in for the desk and putting your monitors on them.

I prefer plan A too, deafboy, but worried about the stand and monitors fitting in the niche of the corner.

Eagle-Matt: I sort of already done such things for I have been drawing the plans out on graph paper just can't image the stand particularly the base to make sure that I have enough room for my keyboard and any accessories.

I wouldn't think that it would be a problem.
