Hello smile.gif

First Yes I am a total newbie when it comes to OC
I'm about to make some upgrades and overclock my E7300
I have a single 2GB DDR3 RAM
can i overclock my cpu and then add another 2GB RAM later ?

by other words... can i modify the rest of my specs after overclocking my cpu ? smile.gif

Yes, ofcourse you CAN, but it isn't 100%certain it will work when adding more ram. Adding ram may cause problems on the stability of the oc.
But it isnt dangerous so to speak, so just start learning oc your cpu and when you get the extra ram, then see if it is still stable and then oc the ram:-)

Edit: I actually think to remeber that i read that dual channel was easyer to oc whit than singel channel. Combo of thouse, not so mutch, hehe.

One can never be certain, but if you are adding another (same brand/model) stick to your individual stick then this would lead it to run in dual channel and unlikely to cause too much problems to your OC.

So it's safer to add both RAMS before starting any adjustments
ok Thank You ruarcs30 & Niko-Time smile.gif
