Help with my new comp - Page 3

No, it's a different brand. Dominator is Corsair. The Dominator has timings of 5-5-5-15, while the G.Skill has (insane) timings of 4-4-4-5. The tighter timings indicate better quality chips, and higher overclocking potential

The G.Skils DDR2 800 were used when breaking the 10 second barrier for Super PI. These RAM sticks also have timigns of 4-4-4-12, although obviously at DDR2 800 speeds. They'll likely hit DDR2 1066 speeds with timings of 5-5-5-15.

Again, your pick. But I don't see you getting that high an FSB with a E6600. If you'd get an E6300 or E6400, the story would be different, since them you might see high FSB.

I would get this one:
ASUS P5B Deluxe Socket T (LGA 775) Intel P965 Express ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

The P5B you linked lacks RAID support on the southbridge, and setting up RAID on the secondary controller is a pain (since one of the connectors is an external eSATA port). The P5B Deluxe does support RAID on the southbridge, and is just built with better components (caparitators and such)
