It is much better, it's still bright in dark hallways, but it should be then.

Even my brother who is a big CoD fan hasent played the game for more than 30 hours and he pre-ordered it and was telling me about how it was going to be way better than BF3.
I actually somewhat looked forward to playing it but now I don't think I'd buy it unless it was $10 with all upcoming DLC for free.
I played it on his PC for about two hours and I was actually stunned how bad it was (and I had low expectations because of Blk Ops).

CoD didn't start on Xbox, they backported COD1 of course, but COD's roots lie in the PC, even COD2 was built first on PC and all the gameplay demo's ect where from the PC not the 360 guess ya didn't know that. Also the same engine in MW3, BO, MW2, WaW, COD4 is the same engine from COD2 which is a heavily modified quake3 engine we first saw in Q3TA tongue.gif

I was on the BF3 band wagon for the whole time since it's conception. However, If you never played BF3, you don't have a lot of time, or want to play casually I would go with MW3. If I had the chance to do it over again I would of gone with MW3. I am (was) a pretty solid CoD player. Not that KD is the most important but I thought I was decent around 1.5-2 primarily playing TDM. In BF3 I get so discouraged while playing. I am absolutely horrible. I set aside a good amount of time trying to get ok, but this never happened. I haven't touched the game in months and don't have any intention on doing so.

On a side note I actually enjoyed MW2 the most. Yes, even over WaW. . . They are close though!

It really boils down to your preferences.
If you like fast-paced multiplayer games, small-sized multiplayer maps where nobody can hide from your killstreaks, more DLC's, and an extreme singleplayer experience, get Modern Warfare 3.
If you can still live with an OK-level singleplayer but can give singlelplayer up for a much longer multiplayer experience with slow-paced games, large-sized maps, teamwork and working in squads, vehicles, destruction, and epic graphics, get Battlefield 3.
I personally prefer BF3 over MW3 because MW3 uses a graphics engine that was utilized by MW2 back in 2009 (which was still in-superior to other games at the time of MW2's release), more destruction (any Minecrafter loves his/her TNT), the vehicles (can be useful for getting kills), and I just think I get the most of my sixty bucks out of the game because a good multiplayer will last me a lot longer than playing a good singleplayer over and over and over again.

I have them both. MW3's Maps are a joke IMO, it's just the same recycled game over and over.

BF3 is a lot of fun on the PC, plus the game looks beautiful.
