Quieter than Hyper 212+? Or quiten down my Fractal R3...

I have a Fractal R3 with a 2500k and a CM212+.

It's fairly noisy... the loudest component in the PC. I get temps between 30 and 37 on idle, it tends to vary heavily.
I'd like something quieter that'd keep the temperatures to about the same level (note: I can't run a Prime95 test for too long as my temps reach 90C after a couple of minutes).

The R3 is fairly enclosed mind you... so it's not as easy to get air in it. Here's my setup:
1 x Gentle Typhoon as front intake
1 x Gentle Typhoon as side intake (about to replace it with a bottom-case intake)
1 x Gentle Typhoon as rear exhaust
1 x NZXT Sentry 2 fan controller

I'll take any suggestions. Under 70 euros if it's possible smile.gif

imo try taking the GT from the side panel and put it on the 212. Test out various rpm to find a good steady speed for temps/noise..shouldn't need as much speed from the GT as stock. Then use the Hyper's fan as bottom intake on lowish-med speed or whatever is highest without being audible. Seal up the side panel (or keep it passive open. try both and check temps), and see how it all works out. imo. Im presuming you had the stock fan on the cooler. sorry if I'm mistaken there.

Correct, I kept the Blademaster... heard good things about it. I may try a GT in there, after all why not...

If you can find the Enermax ETS-T40 TB in Europe it uses a twister bearing fan, which basically means it is dead silent.  Here in America it retails for the same as the Hyper 212+ right now.  Performs a bit better too.
