The Globe and Mail reports that Apple is actively seeking launch partnerships with Canada's Rogers Communications and BCE Inc. to offer their upcoming Apple TV.
Quote:
"They're not closed to doing it with one [company] or doing it with two," said one source who is familiar with the talks. "They're looking for a partner. They're looking for someone with wireless and broadband capabilities."
According to the newspaper, these companies already have the Apple iTV in their labs.

That's interesting... apparently it's integrated with Siri and can also recognize gestures.

Rogers and Bell are the two worst telecommunications companies in Canada. This partnership can only result in some scheme to overcharge and rip off Canadians.

they may be the worst in customer service and satisfaction, but they have all the cash and control on both spectrums for top tech of telecom in canada.

you want the best and foremost in tech, you have to go through them and you will have to pay top dollar for it.

Hence you turn to the independent resellers that rent their lines. Excellent network performance, great customer service, great prices.

I stopped reading after it said Robbers and Hell.

Personally they can have whatever technology and equipment they want. That doesn't change the fact that both of them are responsible for corporatization of the CRTC. The amount of illegal and unethical actions taken by both of these companies should warrant a massive investigation in the amount of influence they exert over the CRTC and their illegal Duopoly in the Internet and telecommunications field. They are responsible for the stagnation of competition in Internet plans and pricing.

They are responsible for the Price fixing and Throttling in addition to the plans to kill Unlimited internet plans. I'm sure there are hundreds if not Thousands of other things they are responsible for (in a negative light) but that would be impossible to cover or to summarize in a single post.

What i get out of these: "'We're familiar with the subject, so here're some statements that have been circulating for ages to prove we're familiar with the subject,' said people who are familiar with the subject."
