I asked the same thing about Black Friday last year. The answer I got was that Caselabs cases are already priced about as low as you will ever see them, and they make relatively little profit from each case sold. In other words, don't bet on it.
Still waiting to get my Caselabs case soon. Definitely hard to wait it out . . .
I never seem to have one when I need it. I'd rather have a good price all the time rather than raising it and creating artificial "sales". They also tend to make production cycles "lumpy" which isn't really what you want (not as a manufacturing guy, anyway - stable is more efficient

This is pretty much the perfect explanation, most people just don't quite understand how businesses operate. You never just "hope for the best" when you make a business plan (start ups kinda do, but its still fairly calculated risk). You have a revenue target, and you price accordingly. With sales, many people subsidize the few who get to buy during a "sale". Thats not fair to the majority of buyers, its just sleazy marketing when they could've sold the product lower year round.
