Need help picking motherboard for i7 2600k that will be used in a high end multi-GPU setup

I'm heavily leaning towards ASUS P8Z68-V however if anyone has any suggestions otherwise I would be appreciative. I would ideally like to keep the price under $300 but can go higher if given a solid reason.

You may have trouble getting that motherboard, it has been deactivated on Newegg. But anyway, how many GPUs are you planning to run? If you answer 3 or more, that motherboard won't work for you.

As much as I want to go tri-SLI, I'll probably just go dual.
