Recommend me a camera - Page 2

I would suggest saving a bit longer and looking in the $150ish range, most super-cheap bags will just end up being replaced in the future.
you do not need to pay that much for a decent bag. considering how you have a smaller body and lenses you will be ok at around 70 - 100 bucks.

i personally like backpacks so i would start there.

example

just look for the bigger brands like kata, lowepro, crumpler, domke, etc.

ps. i actually had the older dr465 for a while and it was pretty comfortable. only problem was it is a bit small for my gear.

You would be pretty hard pressed to find a bag for under 100 bucks that will hold camera equipment, a Camelbak reservoir and cycling necessities, and especially one with adequate protection for everything. I do find it amusing that you're recommending brands like Kata and Crumpler, when they have some of the priciest bags on the market, and their low-end models that are sub-100 dollars hold almost nothing. For someone with 1000 dollars worth of camera eqipment and likely a bike that costs as much or more, 150 dollars for a bag that will expand to fit future needs without requiring another, pricey future purchase is not entirely superfluous.

Thanks for the input guys, It looks like I'm going to save a bit more for a backpack as some of the more expensive ones have more of what i am looking for... I have too many expensive hobbies.

You're telling me.

Computers, audiophilia, photography, and soon firearms will be added to that list.

That looks like dust, something that is going to get into a zoom lens anyway if you use it. If its not showing up in pictures, I wouldn't worry about it unless you're super anal about your gear.

Does it show up on the images? Might be better to return it as it's internal.

For the bag option, look into getting a camera insert. They're really cheap and veristile and you can use an existing bag. Subtle and works well smile.gif

I have this one. This one looks good too.

Well it does not look like its showing up in photos... but is it normal for there to be dust in a brand new lens? especially a piece that large i could see if it was a spec or something but its not.
