I'm going from an ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 to an ASRock Extreme3 Gen3. Running good so far, its a pretty good motherboard though you get what you paid for as in, you pay premium price if you want other things such as a 2nd gigabit lan, firewire, and other additional accessories etc... I do miss the ASUS IO shield where it has a soft cushion but who cares its not like I will look at it all day, yeah you get the regular IO shield which doesnt matter. Didn't have a 2nd gigabit lan but I only use one so I didnt care, it came with 2 sata cords and a male to male 3.5mm cord for portable audio devices while my ASUS came with 6 cords but I had extra so it doesnt matter. Oh and the motherboard is a little smaller, I had to take off 3 stand offs on my 650D, so it only uses 6 screws (vs 9). BIOS came up to date, and they've been releasing frequent fixes so thats good.
But overall thats what I want in a motherboard, it is good/solid and for a really nice price value. If I want the additional features/accessories then I will pay for it.
I use to recommend only ASUS/Gigabyte/MSI but now I'll squeeze in ASRock
