They are good, my bro had a ASUS P8P67 Deluxe B2 RMA'ed it (intel problem back then) and got the Maximus IV Extreme and when he OC'd the 2600K he got it to run with lower voltage than the P8P67 but don't disregard the P8P67 since he also did manage a 5GHz oc on is easily but nowdays most Z68 can oc pretty well. I do like the Gene-Z, if I had a little more cash at the time I probably would've gotten that. Small little board with everything you need and for a good price, went with the ASRock and its pretty fast so far, so probably be wont be changing it soon

Yeah this is one thing that my bro experienced with his Maximus IV Extreme and the Logitech G510, he has to hardboot like twice for it to either recognize or for it to go through bios, sometimes it wont do it, sometimes it will piss you off, so yeah not sure the whole issue there or if it can be fixed.

Yeah well I think it also depends on the motherboard model. I know the MSI Z68A-GD80 has 3 year warranty but if you register within 30 days you get 2 more years = 5 year warranty.
