Im downloading an extra 3gb of high res textures. I have a 4890 and it plays fine, not sure it will now though.

And i thought I'd go to cancel it after I clicked install and it wouldnt let me, stupid steam.

Whats the options, complete uninstall?

I don't think your 4890 is up to the task. Depends on your resolution though.

2560x1440 haha.

It plays fine, 50fps or there abouts. And at detection it set my settings to high. Another 20mins to go for the textures to complete. Lets see what happens.

Yes doesnt look any better due to dx9. Quite a performance hit down to less than around 30fps when walking around the college. Probably worse when I got out. I'll have to turn down the settings. Hopefully only few weeks till 7970.

Question - anyway to enable gkeys, volume key in Skyrim?
