I just pulled the trigger on http://www.bensoutlet.com/products/ati-2gb

I don't think they include anything with the card, my monitor only has dvi, can someone point me in the right direction of mini display port to dvi adapters or the things I need?

If your monitor is 1920x1200 or less, then single link is sufficient.

If the native resolution is 2560x1440 or 2560x1600, then dual link is needed.

You need one of those AMD validated dongles listed here:-

http://support.amd.com/us/eyefinity/Pages/eyefinity-dongles.aspx

A passive one costs US$25.

If you plan to use Eyefinity in the future, perhaps getting an active one is a good move now.

For example, the mini DP to DVI-D single link active adapter Accell B087B-006B is selling for US$35.

That adapter is a no go. Will need the passive adapter listed here AMD Eyefinity Validated Dongles

Passive adapters are merely a cable to go from displayport to DVI/HDMI/VGA. The video card detects the monitor as such, and outputs the required signal (DVI/HDMI/VGA). This does require TMDS and clock signals, hence why they do not work with eyefinity cards.

Active adapter converts a true displayport signal into DVI/HDMI/VGA/whatever else. It will have either a converter chip or a DAC built in to do said conversion. Only Dual Link Active Adapter will need/have additional power from USB.
