Help with finding out the amount of L2 cache on my P4.

Yes this might be a dumb question but i remember way back in 3rd grade, the only dumb question is the one you don't ask so here it goes...

I'm upgrading and thinking about the DS3 with a new Core Duo. But i currently have a P4 3.4 and i noticed that the DS3 may support my current chip which is attractive to me but it only will support a P4 3.4 with 4 megs. So I tried SISoftware tool and can't find anything about the amount of L2 cache any help would be great.
Thanks once agian!

Is your P4 a socket 478 or 775 (does it have gold pins or gold contacts)?
The DS3 is only for socket 775 CPUs, even ones with 2MB L2 cache.

Edit: Here's the DS3 CPU support list.

It's most likely a socket 775 CPU if you pulled it out of a Dell 4700.
So, I'm pretty sure the CPU you pulled out is compatible with the DS3.
