SLI set-ups can provide problems such as microstutter, so ideally, you'd want to start off with a GTX 570 or a 7950, with the option to SLI/CFX later.
If you don't know a lot about building computers (which is evident) don't be afraid to ask for help.

Thanks Kommanche, well it's the first PC that I've ordered online. & as for building I didn't quite feel ready yet. I only have half a years course of A+ & I've never really spent much time in a PC before, so kinda scared about screwing something up.
I've yet to received the PC, & I'm going insane waiting for it. It's being sent via UPS.... Which blows. Worried about it breaking and what not, specially since I failed to put extra packaging.
But on the other hand, if it does arrive with any defect I am sending it back for a refund & I will definetly come back here for some help to build one myself.
Alot quicker and more reliable.
I ordered an Alienware off Dell the 2nd of Jan 2012. I told a buddy , he was kinda jealous so he built himself one. ordered everything online and was playing on it a week or two after that. Me I was still waiting... & finaly Dell cancels my order because they couldn't get certain parts anymore & basicaly told me to re-order... at if I can add a higher price since the "offer" I previously had was no longer available... Ended up being like 500$ more now. So **** Dell.
I decided to give another site a chance (which I won't name because people on forums tend to judge more than help) I picked everything myself. (I'm not a very big nerd in computers I tend to like to smoke a big J when I get home from work and game til it's time to go to bed! lol)
But I'm finaly decided, next time, I'm building.

I think you need to understand that you need a balance between parts within your computer. It dosen't matter that you have the top of the line CPU, but if you GPU is not up to par a bottle neck will be caused. therefor not getting the full potential of the CPU

I don't mean to sound too harsh, it's just that you've spent a lot of money, and I hate seeing that kind of money put in areas which aren't going to see as much as other areas. Hope you enjoy your build, it's going to kick ass thumb.gif

How big do you need?

120gb is perfect for most people.

You can even do 2x 120gb and have them go raid0 for some really insane r/w speeds and that gives you 210gb or so of maindrive storage.

How much of a performance boost is it while gaming anyways? I'd say SWtor , D3 , possibly Dota2 , & a few more to come down the road , maybe even WoW again at some point when the next expantion comes out, but I've kinda given up hope on that one.
