Wow, that was very informative--thanks for linking that! I never understood why my HTPC's output at my TV's "native" resolution never quite looked right. Darn you overscan! I really can't stand it. I've only connected via HDMI though--maybe I'll see if DVI can help curb the issue.EDIT--
I'm so glad I came across this post! It prompted me to look into the advanced settings in my new TV to find that you can change the overscan settings--and now I don't have to worry about horizontal or vertical clipping of the image from my HTPC! About time TV's are integrating settings to alleviate the issue. The previous TV (an old, god-awful DLP) didn't have anything like that.Edited by guyladouche - 2/8/12 at 8:37pm
