WoW + Tri-SLI = Headaches?

Recently added a 3rd GTX 580 to my arsenal.
All 3 of the cards are under water and clocked at 880/1013/1760. I'm sure I can push them higher but this took me 30 seconds to get stable and I see no real need to bump it up right now.
So, I log into WoW and my fps is horrid...
I made sure all the drivers are up to date, fiddled with some settings, did some reading and tried it with DX9 and DX11 inside the game.
With all settings maxed out I was getting around 100fps, however, if I turn my camera too quickly or turn around too quick, I dip into the single digit fps. Were talking 3-4 fps at times for no reason what so ever...
I checked and all the GPU's have some kind of load on them, meaning SLI is working.

Now, if I go into my nvidia panel and set the sli configuration to 2 cards with the 3rd one running dedicated physX, it all runs fine. Try to enable the 3rd and it all goes to poop...

Why in the world would this be happening?

Also, I figured I would get much higher frames than that in this game with these cards (not that it makes a real difference, but you get the point). Is WoW just one of those games that does not play nice with hardware?

Of course not... If I did, it may have been just a tad bit overkill tongue.gif
I see fps increases of 20-30 going from 1-2, then from 2-3 it just drops.

WoW has terrible scaling with multiple-gpu setups. It's been like that for a long time.
