X-Fi question

I got my x-fi xtreme music sound card, but uh... Well I dunno where to edit the my options. Like I have this audio console and stuff, buts not the same. It seems to basic, and when I look on the back of the x-fi box. It has many more options (or at least in a way thats easier to see. I'm looking to see where I can get this http://www.mathquest.cc/jah/soundhax/ thx setup thing. Anyone know where I can download it? Should I get the latest patch of the x-fi driver too. (I have the one that fixes most of the bugs from the first one that came out, but not the latest one).

You want the program called "Creative Consol Launcher". It will be in Program Files, in the Creative directory created when you installed the drivers. To get into the THX setup window, click the "THX" button next to the speaker select menu.

Did you install the driver from the CD first, then download the latest patch?

Its not on the driver. Its on the CD you get with the card.

I've already checked that. All I get is this media source $hit which does nothing. God, is there any place I can download this program or what!?

DONT SWEAR ON OC.NET.

Make sure that you are installing all drivers and programs from the supplied X-FI driver CD and you should be ready to go however check here also to get a full driver download : http://uk.europe.creative.com/suppor...ype=1&x=11&y=8

This is however a UK driver download. The US counterpart can be found also.
