[MP1ST] DICE Admits “Lots of Things Need Improvement” - Page 3

I stopped playing BF3, the awesome graphics just don't make up for the bugs.

With all the problems DICE games have had (especially in recent years), I'm more than willing to take your word for it. I know I had several huge issues in Bad Company 2 that many others didn't, so I don't doubt the veracity of your claim that the hit detection is screwy in your case.

DICE needs to get Evenbalance to fix the plethora of punkbuster issues people are still having.

Trying to work with my school's tech dept to have the ports forwarded to my rig, even though PB worked until the B2K patch.

These bugs bother me the most right now:
Invisible walls.
Walls that can be walked through.
Fences/guard rails that cannot be shot through.
Tanks have no ability to run over small cars.
IFV getting stuck with front wheel drive when it is ALL WHEEL DRIVE.
Vehicle collision is broken.
Hurdling overall is finicky.
Shooting while in reloading/hurdling animation.
0% health = alive.
Silencers mess with bullet detection.
Knifing is finicky. (much more in confined areas)
Top of head = gun muzzle. (this is why people can shoot you with only the top of their head showing)
Endless map glitches. (comes with making detailed maps)

i agree with everything here but silencers are supposed to prevent detection.

DICE fixes their bugs and glitches... They have always been community based and that wont change... Give them time and BF3 will shine...

They fixed BC2 alright.

NOPE.

But not only that, loading times are ridiculous... One upon a beta the loading times were fast (for like 2 days then they patched it and made it rightfully slow) and having to close the client to change the map.. It pisses me off so much.

Well they never fixed BF:BC2 so I don't know why anyone expected BF3 to be any better. You guys bought into the marketing supppppper hard and now you get to learn why you should make purchase decisions based on more then just advertising.

And all the people who spend hundreds upgrading their PC for this one game? How PC gamers reacted to BF3 makes us look even worse then console gamers.... by far.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, they talk about improvement, fixes, etc... BUT WHEN!!! Last week I read about a patch that was going to fix a lot of things, like fall damage, etc. THEY NEVER CAME OUT
post #28 of 143
How quickly masses of fans came to DICE's defense on any number of subjects, ideas, hypothetical scenarios, and/or the mere whisper of MW3. This is how the world ends. This is how the worlds ends....

those are the only you mentioned that i can relate to

but the most annoying is the top of head shooting .. barely see his head yet you die from his bullet... :S doesnt make sense and dice better fix this

the glitchy knife for sure .. and the 0% health thing is sure a big bug

ohh and lets not forget the metro map glitches that people abuse LOL
