What I was planning to do was have an SR1 560 with GT15's mounted to BGear adapters (total thickness 37mm for fans + adapters) on the lower chamber on each side, here's where things become uncertain. I need the second SR1 560 with GT15's and BGear adapters to be mounted exactly the same as the first one, the GT15's do not perform well in pull especially with the SR1's built-in shroud and also with the BGears adapters! I need to do a push + push with both SR1 560's, so the back side 560 needs to be mounted with the fans+adapters in the center rather than out on the side! I hope my explanation is easily understood!

It would ne nice if I have an easy to use CAD program.

Use Google Sketchup. It's free, it's 3-D, and it's easy to learn.

Cheers,

Have you bought your fans yet..
I suggest those 1650 XSPC fans.. there is a review somewhere... and there cheap and perform almost on par with AP15s.
I would change fans.. but I already have HS yate loons.. all running at full tilt.. the noise doesn't bother me, however I never really experienced a "silient" water cooling build lol..

Take a look at the XSPC fans might be impressed.

I have already placed my order for the Yate Loons from Petra's. But, I am looking to replace the 120mm Yates with AP15's, if I can find them in stock somewhere. I will investigate the XSPC fans. At least they make 120mm and 140mm fans. I wish there was a 140mm version of the AP15. That could be a great fan, IMO.

Cheers,

This is the cheapest I've been able to find them listed, I'm planning on 12-15 for my build once I get going on it.

Here is a simple Sketchup drawing of the STH10's basic frame.

I know the Sketchup experts out there are laughing at the simplicity of this. And I'm just fine with that.

The intent of my initial drawings is to provide a mockup of the case to experiment with what could fit inside. This very simple diagram satisifies that need.

Cheers,

Any sketchup model is better than none so thanks for working on this. As long as measurements are right, the details are less important. When you're done let me know and I'll add it to my general "CaseLabs build log + everything else" post

Cheers,

It may look simple but I can't begin to comprehend how you did it with the screw holes for the PSU's! How long did this take you? I have got to see that video tutorials when I have time.
