In plane switching makes the picture quality amazing no matter the angle you view from.

TN panels will NEVER match the color quality of IPS.

Now we are talking! smile.gif

I for a second thought that IPS was only for angle view. I know from my research I learned that IPS is BEST when comes to picture quality. So I want that picture quality and still be able to play Battlefield 3 on it. I also learned that both Dell monitors I wanted to get are NOT 10-bit. Can anyone tell me what's the difference between 8-bit and 10-bit (or even more than that)? Please explain to me like to a 5 year old (tell me is it worth the difference in $$$ and if I am after FPS games?).

Thank you very much guys for all the help you gave me so far! smile.gif

You really don't need a 120Hz monitor. If you get one you sacrifice picture quality for it which I think is unreasonable considering the fact I see no difference, some people do.
