So, I caved and got the 4S....

Thread Starter
I've been waiting and waiting for the iPhone 5, (I currently own an iPhone 4 16GB White Jailbroken).

And 1) I ran out of memory on it. 2) I didn't see the point in buying a 32GB iPhone 4, so I just got the iPhone 4S 32GB White.

I'm happy because: I won't need to use Spire anymore; I'll have more space (more breathing room, that is) and I'll have the performance benefit of the a5 processor and the 8mp cam as well!

Anyone in the same boat?

Mine comes friday if i'm lucky... smile.gif

Not a big fan of the iPhone or most of the people that buy them (though my best friend is a huge Apple dork). Android is better in most ways but I am starting to get bored with it (I have a Galaxy Nexus). I would love to have a Windows Phone with a big screen and decent processor but Verizon's WP selection sucks...

blinksmiley.gif bored of android? You can make the phone like any other OS, how is it boring? And bored of a Galaxy Nexus...? blinksmiley.gif

Apple makes some fantastic products, I LOVE mac OSX Lion (I prefer it to windows for day to day use). I had an iPhone but it was a 3GS... terribad phone. The iPhone 4S is a fantastic device but I just can't use the small screen. I got bored of iOS after 3 years and Android is really good on my SGSII, I'll be getting a SGSIII when it comes out.

This. How can one become bored of Android? I had an iPhone 4 which I bought in 2010 and I thought it was interesting the first month but after 3 months I was sick of it. I gave it to my dad and got a HTC Inspire 4G. What a difference... Now after over a year with Android I have a SGS2 i9100 and I am still not bored of Android. Been running ICS the past week and the kills iOS, just kills it.

Don't get me wrong, Android is fantastic as a phone OS, its just that I have been using it since the original Incredible came out and its getting a bit old to me. I really love the WP7.5 GUI with its smooth as butter animations and transition effects. Plus, the look is very different than iOS or Android and the experience is ultra smooth. Check out a Lumia 900 or HTC Titan if you get the chance.

The Razr is a very nice phone. I chose the Galaxy Nexus over it just because of ICS....

I hope in reflection you realised that that was a silly thing to choose the Nexus over the Razr.

On topic:
yay! My sister got one too. She likes the simplicity of it, to be honest. I just hate the case she had with it. Bloody bunny ears oh my god.

Yea if I ever buy a new phone, it would be the Razr or the GN.
