USB / Motherboard / Speaker Advice (Error)

Thread Starter
Hello,
Recently my Rig is suffering a annoying problem I have tried to fix as much as possible with no avail Please help.

The problem happens randomly but now more frequent.
The Speakers make a Loud "pop" noise the volume of this doesn't depend on the overall hardware/software volume, Within seconds of this "Single Pop" sound I hear the windows USB device disconnected sound, then all my USB devices act as though they are not connected, up-to 5 true seconds later the computer plays the windows USB device connected sound followed by all USB devices responding as they should.

I'm unsure to the problem but I have tried:
  • updating all Drivers for all components,Bios update/cmos reset, all windows updates, Virus/Male-ware/spyware scans all showing negative other than the odd cookie.
  • Restoring windows
  • Removing all USB Devices for process of elimination.(shockingly with all removed windows still makes the "USB disconcerting sound"

Please provide information or help if possible and feel free to request any information i no doubtingly forgot

*edit (My RIG is listed as "Bandicoot" in my profile

Are you overclocked at all?Recently,i tried overclocking my old e6550 a little bit more and while mine is not a USB issue, mine does the "found new hardware" driver installation and makes the same sound when it gets to windows then fails but i didn't put anything new in it.I was thinking it might be because i need more volts on the other components but gave up on it as i already have a stable profile on my overclock.Try going to the other threads in the intel motherboards section of OCN?Maybe they will have a better answer for you there.Link here
