Bios Update w/o floppy.

Hey,

I want to update my mobo's bios, but don't have a floppy. I don't think MSI has somethin to do it w/o one. My last board, ASUS K8N had an program to update in Windows. Can I use that or some sort of program?

I think the program has to match the motherboard. It will not work with another brand.

Just get a floppy from your own rig, and use it .

Yup, Asus is cool that way... not in others...

I did some surfing for ya, but could not come up with anything that I would trust my system with. There was some shady USB BIOS/driver update utilities, but as I mentioned nothing that I would attempt.

You may have to get a 3.5 floppy...sorry.

If you could borrow one, then you could flash the BIOS with the case open and the borrowed drive simply hooked up and laying nearby (no need to install).

Hope this helps. Good luck!

I know, but that doesn't work here.. When I update the stuff, it goed to a ''website'' and always gives the ''error in script, continue anyway''-error and so it doesn't display anything..
