No, no it was not. I had brand new computer and it still took 90secs to load. Win 7/64 takes 12 seconds.

I got my pricing confused with Office Suite numbers...oops.

Still a lot of money for a new OS that I can see no real desktop benefit from in my personal use situation. But for tablet or phones, it is a great idea.

Out of the box no, but with a compiler anything is possible. There's already software to extend Windows 7's functionality.

Right, so once again Windows 7 does not support multiple taskbars. However, a 3rd party application supports multiple taskbars. Now, does Windows 8 support multiple taskbars without having its window manager hijacked? If yes, excellent. If no, then we're still back in '95.
